The two questions that predict a size return

You do not need a body scanner. You need two well-chosen questions and honest garment data.

Fit-finder tools have a reputation for being either too simple to help or too invasive to finish. Across the apparel stores we work with, two questions consistently do most of the work.

A reference garment beats a body scan

'What size do you take in a similar brand?' out-predicts height-and-weight sliders on its own, because shoppers already know how a garment they own actually fits, not just their measurements on paper.

Garment data has to be honest too

The second lever is on the merchant side: accurate, per-style measurements rather than one generic size chart for a whole collection. A fit finder built on an inaccurate chart just moves the return reason from 'wrong size' to 'app said wrong size.'

Two honest questions and an accurate chart will out-perform an elaborate quiz built on guesswork every time.
