App Club Softwares Pvt Ltd (“App Club”, “we”) is registered in Pune, Maharashtra, India, with operating desks in Melbourne, Australia and Austin, USA. We act as a data processor for merchants and a data controller for our own account records.
The data collected depends on the app installed. Across our apps this may include:
We use store and shopper data only to provide the app features you enable, to send the notifications your shoppers requested, and to produce the analytics shown in your dashboard. We do not sell data, and we do not use shopper data to train third-party models.
We use a small set of vendors to run the service, including Shopify, AWS (Mumbai, Sydney and Oregon regions), our email delivery provider and our WhatsApp business solution providers. A current list with locations is available on request or in your admin.
Data is stored in the AWS region closest to your store — Mumbai for Indian merchants, Sydney for Australian merchants, Oregon for US merchants. On uninstall, app settings and shopper records are retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
Under India’s DPDP Act, the Australian Privacy Act and the GDPR where applicable, you and your shoppers can request access, correction, export or erasure. Requests to privacy@shopifyappclub.com are actioned within 30 days, usually within three business days.
